There was a machine for drinking water but no cups. I asked 2 members of staff if they could replenish the water cups and they just stood around, said they didn’t know where there were any cups. 42c outside. Won’t visit again

I like the store because I get almost everything there. (However, they didn’t have safety pants for the work with a chainsaw. When I showed the guy in the Aisle what I am talking about, he seemed to be rather confused that such thing exists.) Positive remarks: 1) It is also great that it is open on Sundays. 2) The delivery service is very good (but sometimes quite expensive. There are cheaper alternatives out there that provide the same level of service) But 3 negative remarks: 1) Each section seems to have only 1 guy in charge that is usually already occupied by other customers. So when you have a question, you have to wait a lot. 2) Going there by public transport is a nightmare even with having potentially 4 bus lines available (L2, 32, 150, 151). Either you walk a lot to get the L2 or you wait a lot to get one of the other lines. 3) The register are is very small (in terms of space). For my taste a little bit too small for a store where you sometimes buy very big things. Anyway, I will continue going there.

Classic massive French DIY store. Although the trainee managed to screw up making a copy of a key and wasted a lot of our time trying to get it resolved. Philippe is the main man for keys, he will solve your problems, steer clear of the youngsters who are a bit clueless…

Massive stock for a massive choice. The store is well played out and it's relatively easy to find the items you're looking for. And if you can't find it then the stores friendly staff will no doubt be here to assist you. Great, helpful service. I also like to order online and pick up from the outside lockets to save time.

New wall mounted hose pipe faulty with massive internal leak. Leroy cannot do anything for 2 days as no SAV Sunday and Bank Holiday and will not swap detective product in Returns office. Long week-end of DIY ruined. Will have to go and queue again Tuesday to see what they will do...send for repair? Very dissapointed.

Leroy Merlin is like a giant supermarket for hardware. However, the customer service is pretty bad. We wanted to order a kitchen, (approx 6000 EUR value). We were put through a perfunctory session with a sales rep by the name of Mathieu who point blank refused to commit to any sort of delivery schedule. When pressed, the best he could come up with was an expansive "2 or 3 months" with a Gallic shrug for added effect. Result: we walked out of there and went straight to BUT who were welcoming and professional. We spent more but returned satisfied.
